“Living room” slide admits road heat when traveling

Looking for some feedback..... when we are traveling in our 2011 Forest River Sunseeker, the “living room” slide is, of course, retracted into the coach. There is a tremendous amount of heat coming into the coach from the base of the slide. Is this a problem for others?

Have you checked to see that the slide base is sealing against the coach? I worked on a sun seeker that you could see the road out the forward lower corner of the slide (lots of wind noise)
