Long trip rituals

We are leaving for a week and a half trip to the Rocky Mountains in about two weeks. I have already started my long trip rituals with my truck and TT. These rituals include but not limited to checking all fluids, tire condition, grease suspension, cleaning and reviewing the check list of necessities in the camper. What long trip rituals do some of you all have?

Make sure I have two credit cards. A little cash. The wife. Jump in RV and head out. Anything I need I can get 95% at Walmart.

Jack, lots and lots of Jack...

Flush and drain the water system before every trip.

All lights checked as well as bulb and fuse supply.

The dw is really stepping up this vacation. Spare fuses and bulbs are one thing she put in the list.

I don't know where you're coming from, but if it's far away from home, you might want to let your credit card company/bank know you'll be out of town. That way, no refused CC purchases. We had to do that last time we went somewhere far away.

Very Good advice, when CC starts to show Purchase's in different States this can cause a Red Flag! Call before you go,saves some aggravation/embarrassment while on a Trip! Youroo!!

I don't do anything different for long trips vs short ones except pack more food and clothes.

Most has been covered, a few that came to mind:
Pack enough meds for the trip and a few extra. We always take spare keys to the truck and camper. If your going into remote areas a handheld GPS is good.

Luckily the only time I've had any issues with CC was when we went to Cancun. I just paid with the always accepted cash.
