looking for a little hospitality help
The DW and I will be travelling from ST Louis to Nashville in June to attend a work conference. We decided it would be a good opportunity to pull the travel trailer and after the conference go to the Smokey Mountains.
Can anyone recommend a place to store the camper from a Sunday to be picked up on a Thursday? I can't park it downtown at the hotel.
Help?

Just a thought, but you might be able to find a WalMart or grocery store with a large parking lot, then Uber or Lyft to your hotel.

I don’t have any personal experience in Nashville but I was faced with the similar dilemma in Houston and contacted local campgrounds.

As previous stated. Lots of Campgrounds have a storage area.

We’ve spent time at family’s homes and couldn’t park there so we contacted local self storage places. We just turned everything off, drove away and knew it was secure. The cost wasn’t expensive but sometimes you do have to pay for a week. Lots cheaper than a campground. Good luck!

Walmarts should really only be used as a quick layover as you are passing through an area and not as an alternative to campground for extended stays.

When I was traveling through Birmingham and needed to park the MH for the day I called a church that was close by and they let me park out of the way for a day.

I would not want to leave it unattended for that length of time. Better to find a campground nearby and pay the fee.
Cheaper than having it broken into and damaged...............Or WORSE!
Better yet, stay in the camper, commute to the confrence, and get reimbursed for the camping spot.

Baack to the OP's original question: On Music Valley Drive, there are 3 campgrounds. All have a small RV storage area. Contact them and I'm pretty sure at least one will let you store your tt at their location. One of them is Two Rivers, a Good Sam park. Google "RV campgrounds on Music Valley Drive."

wow, this is harder than I thought. The campgrounds will only store if you rent a pad at their nightly rate, the camping world and local rv dealer said they don't offer short term storage. I called a few local churches as suggested above and they said no.
Trying to think outside the box here.

not too far outside the box are local storage places... That is what they do is rent storage places.

X2. Makes no sense to tow an RV to a destination, then stay in a hotel.

hospitality help
I live in Nashville, and as it was stated earlier, Two River Campground on Briley Parkway is one option. There is also nashvillejellystone.com and Nashville KOA 2626 Music Valley Dr, Nashville, TN 37214.

If it's only going to be for a few days, perhaps someone who reads these forums has a property in the area where they will allow you to park it.

I've wondered about a CraigsList "Wanted" ad. But I also shudder to think what could happen.
If you've been shot down for campgrounds, I'd call local storage companies.

Maybe start a new thread called: Will you baby sit my RV in the Nashville area? Might not work for you but I'll bet the answers will be entertaining!

Seven Points COE park is less than 20 min to downtown... IIRC it is $28 a night W/E waterfront site. Either stay there or make it look like you are staying there... eat dinner there a couple nights, etc...

Last year we stayed at the Grand Ole RV Resort and Market in Goodlettsville, about 20 minutes from downtown Nashville. You might call them, they had a big grassy area out front that had some RV's that looked like they were being temporarily stored. Not sure what their rates are but they were probably the nicest workers we had ever met at an RV park. They even offered to connect up the sewage.
