I second, our third, whispering hills in Georgetown. Very ready to get to, new bath houses, and nice sites. We have reservations there in Oct. for two weekends as we travel to TN.

Yes most are level! In regards to the "Exercise" of the 5 year old, most are 2 year old at the "Horse Park" but you should be able to find a Trainer or Jockey to fill your needs though! Youroo!!

Big Bone Lick is nice but as mentioned previously, some sites are hard to get leveled and it is quite a ways off of I-75. But there are lots of restaurants and shopping in Florence. I do not recommend Oak Creek or Cincinnati South campgrounds. Horse Park is great place to stay but pricey.

2x that on Cincinnati south campgrounds. We stayed one night while traveling south. The site was nice enough and the staff was fine but it was NOISY! Literally, planes, trains and automobiles. The interstate noise and trains were loud. I can't imagine having a seasonal site there.

Yes and your 5 yo will probably LOVE to see the horses roaming around in the fields. I know mine do as do I.

We stayed at Oak Creek CG in Walton, KY about an hour north of Lexington. Spent one night there last week. Nice pull thru site.

Welcome to Oak Creek Campground !

We just reserved Whispering Hills. The horse park required two nights stay. Thanks all for the suggestions.
