Looking for an owner's manual

Good Day Everyone,

I've tried google, I've tried Forest River directly and even a few RV places close to home but NO LUCK!

Does ANYONE have ANYWHERE or can help me locate a 2012 Shasta Revere 26TBQB.

Can ANYONE help me pleaseeeeee!

Thank you!

I think you're out of luck. Forest River does not have "model specific" owners' manuals...... too expensive for them to do that. Most of the manuals are generic and basic stuff.

If you received a build sheet with your paperwork, go to the manufacturers website for the OEM items installed in the RV and download the manuals etc for your make and model. This should cover over 90% of the information you are looking for. If you did not get a build sheet, take a rainy day and create one by recording the mfg, make and model of all the OEM items in your unit. You WILL need it at some time.

WOW... ya we didn't get that as we bought it second hand but that is a great idea! I will totally do that... Man never knew how frustrating not having a manual would be...

Save the paperwork!!!

I find it frustrating when people don't include the manuals, warranty info, etc, when trading in a rig. We provided a large manila envelope full with our 2008 trade in, but got zero with the 2014 unit we bought.

The so called manuals I got with my PUP and TT were both more or less brochures with general if applies type stuff... like 3 different WH were listed, 3 different fridges, etc.
The most help I got was researching any documents and instructions for my unit or individual WH heater model from dometic, AC, etc listings. I more or less have built in files and some printed out of things I keep with my rig. At least you can find .pdf files, some documentation, but most helpful are your fellow RV online community that all feel your frustration and pain.

I did not drill down to your specific model but try

I have never ‘not found’ a manual if I look long enough on the web

Generic owners manuals have been a RV Industry standard for years, no matter the manufacturer.
But they generally include individual owners manuals for the important stuff, like fridge, a/c, converter, oven, furnace, water heater and so on.
But buying used is a crap shoot. But should be able to download those individual manuals from the different manufacturers websites. Just get make and model number.

OP, if you check the Shasta website, you can download a Shasta mobile manuals app.

Anual...I feel your pain. I have a 2018 Rockwood that I was told was “new” but not a lick of paperwork or warranty information and missing parts!!! I wish you the best of luck! My solution for my situation....I email Forest River about every 2 weeks with something new that I can’t figure out. I’m sure Jacob groans when he sees my email address showing up.

Thank you for that rjshiflet! I have and it brings up a coachman and nothing matches to my Rockwood! Some of the things I have easily replaced like the fire extinguisher but others I’m saving up to have an independent contractor come fix because I’m not confident enough to do it myself. Need to see something done at least once before I try it! You all have been a wonderful resource as well which I say THANK YOU!

There’s a Forest River app that has manuals online I believe. Was recommended by my dealer when I bought our trailer..

There is NO Rockwood manual. The only owners manual is a generic TT or 5th wheel manual. They have no brand or model specific information.
They are the same, no matter the brand.

You need to contact the dealer because they should've provided you all the paperwork.
