Looking for "Christmas Village" RV items

Rita has a small Christmas Village like many folks.
Now we're looking for any RV related goodies to put in there.
Remember we're talking old school matchbox size toy RV trailers or
camper pickups anything to build a mineature RV campground.
Not necessarily old just that scale.
Guess we already have a fishing bait store, it could work for the
camp office.

I have been collecting 'A Christmas Story" village and items for several years now from Sears. However this year, they quit selling it.

I do have one item that wasn't in the movie, but is in my town. There had to be a place to buy tires (naturally), get Craftsman tools, as well as S&H green stamps in my world.

Lemax Village Collection Christmas Village Porcelain Lighted House - Charlie's Garage - Seasonal - Christmas - Indoor Decorations & Figures

I had seen where Lemax also sells this trailer below at Sears and Kmart, which may go with your theme. You can't go wrong with pink flamingo's, but you may have to put it on the outskirts of your village (depending on Rita's zoning laws and if she allows permanent campers in her RV park. I suppose this could be her managers place) LOL

THAT's funny!

Gotta have one if it's similar scale to our other houses. Love those flamingos and the lawn chairs by the fire!!

Priced right but shipping is $9. Wish K-mart/Sears had free to the store
shipping like WallyWorld!
Rita's gonna see if she can come up with enough order from them to hit the
free shipping over $50 threshold.

Yeah, when you go to the link, where you can zoom in on the pic (by rolling your mouse over the picture) and look at the chairs by the fire....I can't tell if that is supposed to be marshmallows on the sticks, or rolls of toilet paper.

You can also see the two propane tanks on the tongue.

I assume that's a "milk" bottle in front of the mailbox.

Crud, I may have to get one now.

The two chairs don't look to be too comfortable.

Boy when you snooze you loose this time of year!!

The other day when this thread was new the little trailer at sears/kmart was
only $19 and change + shipping.
Wife said "lets look around and see what Lowes or HomeDebit has".

Went to Lowes today and their version of the little camper at christmas
was a whopping $39 Looks nice but man that's a lotta recycled cans!

Trotted on home and hit the computer to order the one at Sears/Kmart.
It's gone UP $7 since last week

I can't win.........

Yesterday I came across it on display at my local KMart but it was missing Santa. This item was sold out.

Try this link, as it is still around $19 plus shipping and sales tax.

You guys are the GREATEST EVER!!!

Wow! I used another link earlier and it was Sears "but sold by Kmart".
That price was $6 bucks higher!

Just ordered it from Kmart using the link you gave AND signed up for
their "free shipping 90day free trial" and so got free shipping!!!
AND the free shipping trial does NOT have automatic signup.
When the time's up I have to sign up to continue- which I won't do but
in the mean time I get free shipping from Sears and Kmart for 3 months.
What a deal!
My total was a measly $20.02

LOVE you guys!! My ball cap's off and the next one's on me

I know this is WAY early yet, but I'll forget about it by the time Christmas comes around. I am on an email list from A Christmas Story House. They sent me a link to their sister site, stating they are now selling Department 56 Christmas Vacation items.

I will wait till the price comes down, but I think I am going to HAVE to buy Cousin Eddies lighted RV along with him dumping his black tank into the city drain. These would go perfect with the other items previously discussed in this forum.

Here is the link I got:

Eggnog Moose Mugs Christmas Vacation Collectibles - Store

Just passing the info along for those interested....and this is not any April Fool's joke, as you may think.

I see where K-Mart has the Lemax travel trailer again. It appears they changed the color and some of the outside decorations for this year. It'll probably go on sale the closer it gets to Christmas if you want to bookmark the site.

KyDan, I must apologize before I say anything else.

I was in Lowes this evening and they are already putting Christmas stuff out. Well, they had this on the shelf for $34.99. It has LED lights and plays several Christmas melodies. I went ahead and got it to place in the camper. I gave away last year's K-mart one to a camping buddy,

Oh, and the pre-apology........is in case Rita doesn't already have it and makes you spend some money.
