Looking for Quartzsite info

I've heard a lot about Quartzsite, AZ and will be traveling thru there next weekend for a couple nights.

Here tell there are huge flee markets and events. We plan to spend a whole day in the area and wonder what and where are the must see and do things?

For those interested, I did find a good site with local information.

Go to TheScenicRoad.com and click on the EVENTS Tab. The site has a list of events all season, and other things of interest.

I think it's a little early for all the events that go on; just about everything starts in January. But this wisdom comes from what I've read on the internet, not from personal experience.

Here is a link to the Quartzsite RV Show.

https://quartzsitervshow.com

We visited last year. Pretty fun. Lots of threads about Quartzsite in this forum. Just run a few searches.

Here is another external link too.

We have visited and there is a lot of stuff going on.

It is my understanding that the "lemon law" is not enforceable in AZ just in case you are planning a purchase.

Went thru there about 10 days ago, you can see pretty much everything from the highway, there are a few flea markets open but not much, gotta wait for warmer weather.

January is the big month. RV parks full, along with the BLM long term visitor areas. Lots of rocks for sale. Things are ramping up now. If you boondock, pay the small fee to the BLM so you can dump and get fresh water when you need it.

I was there this past week, Tuesday and Wednesday and not much going on. The Tyson Wells swap meet only had a few vendors. Others were starting to set up. I would think it will take a few more weeks to be good. We always go when the RV Show is going, it is busy but everything is open.
