Looking once again

Has anyone ever traded in there TT only 6 months after purchasing it?
Salem has come out with a new model and I really like the floor plan compared to the one I have. Just looking for thoughts and opinions.

You will definitly be taking a big hit if you trade but maybe not so bad on a private sale. It all depends on how good a deal you got on initial purchase. What are you wanting to get rid of and into?

we had ours for about a year lost about 30% of what we paid yeah it was a hit but it scares me what we would have lost if we had waited for another year

I was tempted to trade my RE for a mid bunk. They came out a few months after we bought our fiver. I have managed to convince myself for 2 years to stay in my current floor plan. I keep reminding myself it is a big hit and I likely only have a few more years til DD decides she is too into teen things to want to camp. We kept our previous tt for 4 yrs and got only $3k less than we paid by doing private sale. If you decide to trade, private sale is the way to go (it can be done even if you have a lien on the current tt).

I traded my first TT almost exactly 1 year after purchasing it. I traded my second TT almost 1 year after purchasing it. I have now had my Class C for 2 seasons and plan to stick with it. Oh, and I only lost about 10% on the trades.
