Looking to purchase Forester 3011DS, questions

Gloria here. My Lovey, Bruce, retires in about 2 months and we are looking for our first motorhome together. We have narrowed it down and are leaning towards this model. Most of the time, it will just be him and me and 2-3 dogs. Occasionally, we will have a few people with us for a weekend. We have a couple (lol) of questions and appreciate any insight.

For anyone who has this model or the Sunseeker sibling, how do you like it? Are you happy with it?
What features do you love and what do you not like so much?
Would you get the U-dinette or regular?
I am used to the day/night shades, how do you like the pull-downs?
4 door fridge with the icemaker or regular size?
Where to purchase? Has anyone used one of the internet companies that seem to be about $10,000 less than our "local" dealer?


We are thinking we want the option of the swivel chairs.

Any other options we should consider or leave out? I am open to all thoughts, suggestions, ideas. I have already gotten such an education from this site. Thanks so much.

Have the 2016 3011ds. We prefer the u shape dinette. The fridge is amazing dual setting for electric or propane with an auto feature as well. Bedroom is super comfy.

Pull down shades are easy and fine. No issues at all. We actually slept with windows open it was nice to have morning sun and breeze

I paid 75k for mine at camping world in Akron Ohio. Brand new.
