Looks like silicone?

I know from this forum not to use silicone sealant on my TT. But I want to reseal around my side windows, speakers, range vent, etc. (NOT roof) so I bought Geocel clear RV pro flex sealant. But it really looks and feels like the original sealant is silicone, in which case my prep is much more difficult. Is it possible they used silicone originally on my gel coat siding (2016 EVO 200rd)?

I wish I had a definitive answer for you, but I am 95% sure the factory used silicone on mine as well. Like you, I have re-sealed with the RV pro flex. Prep is really a pain.

Thanks for the reply. If yours had silicone then at least I know it’s a possibility mine has it, too. In which case I’ll have to get it ALL off. Anyone know if I can damage my gel coat by scraping off the existing caulking? I doubt I can use any solvents on it. How about denatured alcohol?
