Louisville RV Show?
It opens Wednesday (Jan. 25) & runs through Sunday. I think we're going early afternoon on Friday to reaffirm that we made the right choice when we bought ours last year!
Is anyone else going this year?

We may go down Sat. afternoon. We purchased our Rockwood two years ago. We love it.

#1 and I have been considering a trip on Saturday. Was going to take Friday off and make a morning run, but too busy right now.
At lunch I saw on Wave3 Listens a couple pieces covering the show. From what I saw it looks like a big show - so that may have cemented my visit on Saturday.

The Louisville show has been a great show in the past. We drive down almost every year. It is a great way to get out of the house and start planning for the year to camp and dream.

We went on Wednesday.
Got there right at 5PM and spent about 3 hours.
Danger!!! We found (my wife found) a trailer that we (she) REALLY
likes.
Be careful out there!!!
I did a quick NADA book value on my trailer and it's down nearly
$10 GRAND from just 4 years ago when we bought it.
Trading in often is VERY expensive!!
FYI, tickets are $8 for seniors over 60 at the door and $8 for
everyone if you buy them at Kroger.
If you're not 60 and buy them at the door they are $10.
Also Fairground parking is $8
We enjoyed the show but didn't see as many Forest River products as
we'd have liked.
We go every year.
We bought our current trailer there in 08 from Tom Raper.
They haven't been to the show in the last 2 or 3 years.

We're going today in time for lunch. DH loves the pork sammies. Hopefully, we'll get in & out before the Friday afternoon crowd arrives. LOL!
I wouldn't want to know the depreciation on our MH in just a year. I'm hoping to see that prices have skyrocketed and ours is actually worth more now. My head is fine in the sand...tyvm.
We really aren't shopping for anything so it will be interesting to see what we come home with!

We did get there & had lunch. There wasn't a huge crowd when we got there but it got busier as the day went on although it was no where near the elbow to elbow crowd of last year's Saturday.
I don't think there were as many booths as last year but plenty of boats & RVs to look at. Lots of each class of MH but way more trailers & pop-ups which is understandable. There was a Georgetown 280 which is what we have and there wasn't much difference in this years and last. The main thing I noticed was that the covers for the sinks were made from the same stuff as the countertop.
We were very interested in the Thor Ace last year but it's floor plan was all squished up and just didn't work well IMO. They opened it up quite a bit in this year's model but it's still not as roomy as the G'town.
I thought we were going to escape without buying anything but we wound up getting a Deck Swing Chair that hangs from a rafter. NO..not in the MH but on our back porch. The old net one has had it.
