I think you're comparing apples to oranges, .... m35a2 is correct, the action of the SS is done by a water jet(about 1/8" jet), ..... that's what breaks up any solids and paper(grinds up the waste) and also supplies the force to send the flow up to 100' thru the hose and up to 3' high(above ground level), .... your tank flush is simply a water spray inside the tank that washes off the sides of the tank, that can't in any way duplicate what the SS does, .... the link below is a youtube video demonstrating how the Sewer Solution works ,.....

I ran mine straight from the battery myself using 12 gauge stranded wire. Works great. As a precaution, I added a 20 amp fuse near the battery even though the pump wiring has a fuse. My fuse protects wiring from fuse to the pump connector in event of a cut in wire driving. Works well.

If you want to pump to your truck to fill a portable tank, you can easily run another wire from you truck wiring to the back of your truck to pump out portable tanks also if desired.
Also, you don't need to run but one hot wire as the ground can be a short wire attached to your trailer close to the pump conection. I ran only one red wire to show it the hot wire and a black short one and used a self drilling screw to screw into the frame for a solid ground close by.

well iv'e used it twice since we got it thing works great, used it at the campground to dump grey into the portable tank then when i changed out the toilet at home i decided to thoroughly clean the black tank while I was at it. pumped the black almost full i would guess about 25-28 gallons into the sewer clean out about 25 feet up hill thing emptied the tank in no time. i am really happy with it.

We've been using the Flojet for years; one crapped out on us (pun intended) and we bought a second, but I fixed the first one so now we have two. It works very well and we power it with a wiring harness I made.

That said, I've never heard a bad word about the sewer solution and I would love to get my hands on one to try it out - it seems a lot simpler than the Flojet. One thing I would have to add is a garden hose fitting because that's what we pump into.

However, they go for around $160 bucks around here, and that's a bit rich for my blood when we have a working system already.

BTW I found out earlier today about the idea of using a Flojet to pump was water into a tote in the bed of the truck, and back out at the dump station. What a great idea!
