Went up to Small Country Campground in Louisa this past weekend and spent some time with Richard and Donna doing a bit of this
and a lot of this
The trip up was uneventful, and the TT towed like a champ. Lisa and our two youngest came with for the 1st night up. Got up at the usual 0530 and saw a nice sunrise and enjoyed the coolness of the morning as it was over 100 all week. Drank a little coffee and spent the rest of Saturday morning worrying like a girl about the oldest driving up by herself. Needless to say she arrived around 11, thankfully in one piece. Did a lot of exploring and couldn't help but notice the number of FR products around. One guy even had the exact same TT and TV as we do, to include the color. GMTA is all I could say about that. Still have not had a single problem with the TT (Knock on wood), and did pick up quite a few pointers from Richard about awning set, and other important things you don't think about or see until after some sort of catastrophe. I am still trying to figure out how to download pictures from my phone, as dumbarse me forgot the digital camera. I am now looking for electric tongue jacks, as I can see how beneficial it will be to have one. ALready made our Thanksgiving Reservation up there for 5 days and have plans for two other trips in October. I will say, though a larger truck with a big ole diesel will be in the future plans. 8 MPG just aint gonna cut it. Although I did pull between 65-70 all the way to include hills. That's about it for now, as I am off work today with a full blown staph infection and taking it easy eating antibiotics and resting.
