Maybe things has changed since I brought my TT because two FR reps told me otherwise over the phone when I called inquiring about the second year warranty.

Maybe there trying to get better at customer satisfaction, I'm not satisfied yet that's for sure. Hopefully after these issues are fixed I'll be camping and having fun with the women and dog as planned.

A detailed PDI could had caught the issues and the service department could had corrected them prior to your arrival to take home the RV. Based on their "fine tooth comb" skills I hope they are better at fixing issues.

This is exactly why you SHOULD reveal the name of the dealership! Potential buyers need to be protected & made aware instead of protecting the dealership. You're certainly not going to put them out of business by revealing your experience. But future buyers can possibly prevent themselves from the same treatment if they know what to watch out for & demand a product that is worth the $60000 they're paying.

An up date I spoke to the service manager BOB yesturday afternoon and he said they had most of the items taken care of and that the slide has a broken tooth and that it waas also repaired. He said they still had a couple items to fix but were almost done and would be calling me very soon.
Sounds like they are doing the right thins and making all this right. I'll keep you all post on the out come as soon as I get my new rig back.

I will be happy again when I see there work and how well it was done if done right. I will give them the prays do if it is deserving. I know this should have never happened if I would have received a proper PDI which I really didn't know about but I do now.

Just read through this thread. Sounds like they are taking care of you and in a timely fashion. Things do happen each time you take it down the road, as you well know. Won't be long and they will be long past you. As for the LED strip, one thing to remember is, if you didn't know, not all the "bulbs" will light depending on the color chosen. Happy camping!

My 2014 41' Columbus is new, it made it from the dealer 35 miles away to my house then straight back to the dealer another 35 miles away. LOL its never been used yet, but I think they are taking care of the issues with it that they didn't from the start before delievery of the unit. I understand things happen and I may have just had a new guy at the facility taking care of me and he not knowing all the procedures to follow before delievery to the customer. I was also uneducated on what should have been done before delievery because I've never bought a new one before only from an indivdual owner.
