Question Manatee Hammock Park

Planning a trip to Fla. in Sept. to Titusville. Looked for nearby campsites and the one that got my attention was the Manatee Hammock Park one. Have anyone stayed in this campsite and can provide me with some Pros/Cons. Thanks for the feedbacks.

Have been there several times. Not the fanciest CG, but a good one. Right on the inland waterway. Can watch the dolphins feeding & playing. Also close to the space center. Also an airport across the highway with a good airplane museum. Shopping nearby (grocery, pharmacies,Dollar General& Family Dollar). Also Cocoa Beach not too far away. Good restaurant in Titusville; Dixie Crossroads Seafood. Wildlife Preserve close by.
Think you will find it more than adequate & enjoyable. Don't know what kind of rig you have, but we always try to get site #22; pull through, but there are lots of good sites.

Thanks for the info Papa GLS. Not looking for something fancy but a place that has all the amenities so as WI-FI, water, sewer and cable hook ups. I own a 2012 Coachmen Concord 24 Ft. and be towing a Honda CRV. I like the Pull through cause it is easy to get in and out.

Haven't stayed there but have some friends who full time at Great Outdoors and they really like it. Most folks I know go on down to Cocoa Beach and camp at Jetty Park. If you're going to be in Titusville very long and take advantage of the beach and wildlife drive, you may want to get a National Parks pass - it will save you some $. Also, when you get into Playa Linda (the national seashore), there are 13 parking areas as you drive north. There is an unwritten agreement that public nudity laws are not enforced on the beach from Lot #13 north. Our teenage daughter and some friends were parked at Lot #1 and walked the beach without paying attention to how far they went.....the male jogger and the portly lady sunbathing were quite a shock for their group! The wildlife drive is very cool....no telling what you'll see there. We've seen gators, all sorts of birds (including a Great Blue Heron wolfing down a muskrat!), wild hogs, turkeys, eagles, etc. You're also not that far from Orlando. Highly recommend Fort Wilderness at Disney if you get a chance to visit there. Have fun and bring inset repellant!
