Mattress Question

Our new o8 Flagstaff came with a Flair Heated Mattress. We may just be getting old but after four nights trying to sleep we have got to get another kind of mattress before our next trip. My question is has anyone got or had the Danasty Mattress by Paramount Manufacturing?Any suggestions on a good comfortable Mattress. Thanks

We just bought a new mattress for our camper. The heated mattress is terrible. Just one night on it and I hurt, we bought a King Coil Mattress. it is 3" longer then the heated mattress, it is a full queen size. We slept on this mattress for two weeks in a row while at Myrtle Beach and had a good sleeping experiences.

My vote is for the Sleep Better mattress. We have a sleep number in the B&S (bricks & sticks) and are ordering a Sleep Better for the RV. The sleep better is better than the sleep number because of the way the chambers are made and there's no foam divider between them.

We have a sleep number in our home, it's great. They do make them for campers as well.

I guess I'm tougher or just numb all over, but I like the original mattress that came in our Rockwood. I guess its a Flair, it has the heat thingy.

Go figure.

Maybe it was the sound of the crickets, frogs and gentle rain, and not the matress after all...

Yo , radio man

I agree completely. The mattress supplied with our 2008 Rockwood is just fine. I've had back problems for years and have had extra-firm mattresses at home to accommodate. The mattress in our Rockwood causes me no pain. The heated function has been wonderful and I wouldn't trade it.

But that's just me!!!!!

well here's my 2 cents. I like the heated feature and at first I liked the mattress also. But i had only slept on it for a couple of nights at a time on just some weekend trips. After sleeping on it for 9 days my opinion changed a bit. It's not horrible, but for extended periods it's not the best either. I'm thinking about changing it out to a better mattress only because i plan on keeping this trailer for awhile and using it for longer trips.
