Mattress question

Just bought a used 31' Sunseeker. The existing mattress needs replaced.
Do RV's require a special mattress made for the camping environment? Or can I use a regular house mattress?

An RV mattress seems to be a little lighter and not as tall but I put a regular mattress in my TT. I had to remove the 4" memory form topper so I could climb into bed.
Great choice for "Living within my means" and camping for one...
