Mattress\topper

Wife and I have not liked the bed mattress in the camper, so we did the Wallmart cheepy topper and it helped a bit. Seems I have read here Camping World sells a modertly priced mattress topper that everybody raved about...... So I would like to hear from all that bought one and how you liked it and which one you bought, thanks jdadoug.

We purchased a memory foam mattress topper from Costco and have been very satisfied with it. We have used it full time for over a year now.

We also use a topper we bought from overstock but BUY A MATTRESS! Throw out that thing that come in the camper. They are designed to be light not comfortable. Easy enough to get a good quality mattress in your camper and makes all the difference. JT

jdadoug-- I wonder if you are refering to the Perfect Harmony Mattress Topper sold at Camping World. I camped my way home after picking up my new TT and spent 6 nights on the OEM mattress. It got pretty hard by the end of the trip. Thinking of my wife (always) I thought we would like something a little more comfortable. I purchased the Perfect Harmony topper and have been very happy with it. It is very comfortable and the combination with the original mattress makes for one very good sleeping platform. It will "breathe" more than the orignial mattress and feels cooler. I bought the short queen and regular queen sheets fit on it without any problem. It is 2" of memory foam topped with 2" of "Angel Soft" material. It can be taken apart to wash the "Angel Soft" top as needed.

The mattress heater will be of no use. I bought an electric blanket for some late fall camping in cold weather. Very satisfied with the product. It is more expensive than just the foam topper but the 2" of Angel Soft is quite comfortable.

Just my opinion and my wife liked it also.

We bought a 4" memory foam w/ pillow-top support mattress topper from Kohls by "home classics". We're very happy with it.

Sleep Number air mattress. Each of us can set it to whatever our back feels like.
The memory foam on top og the old mattress was way too soft and couldn't even roll in bed easily.

First purchase we made when we bought the coach. Gave the OEM mattress to a co-worker for his toy hauler to use on top of the one used by his kids. We've had one at home since 1997 and one in the coach since 2007. Expensive compared to the toppers but I knew my back would be fine in the morning after a great nights sleep.

The Novaform mattress topper is going on special at Costco in February (Canada). We're considering for our Jack and Jill bunks. Any experience cutting these toppers to fit; our lower bunk is roughly 3" short of a double mattress?
