Maxxair Turbo

Anyone put one of these puppies on their rig?

How do you like it?

Thinking about getting one for the bedroom.

I installed a differant brand but same idea as maxx air. Really helps on rainy days. You can keep your roof vents fully open durning hard rains without watter splashing in. No holes in roof. They attach to the sides of your vent. I like

Well....I bought one. I'll let everyone know what i think after I install it. Looks to be a very simple install. Has a good size fan so should work well. Lucky for me I have a light right next to my vent so fishing the 12v line should be easy.

When I removed the inside trim ring from my existing ceiling vent (vent only,
no fan motor) I found wires running right past the opening.
I just tapped into a hot wire from a ceiling light and presto!!

Note: We've found our MaxxAir fan to be a little noisy on low speed.
It often resonates and makes a bit of a howling sound. Wish it didn't do
that but love it otherwise. Have had 2 units on 2 trailers and both exhibited
the same howling resonance on low speeds at times.
It seems worse on battery power vs shore power.

I installed the Maxxair Turbo today. Very easy install. Took about 2 hours total. Like KyDan I was fortunate and had the power wires running inside of vent cover. Really like this fan. It puts out a lot of air and is reversible. I do not have any of the howling sound or resonance as KyDan mentioned. Had an electric heater inside the trailer as I was installing, and noticed how warm the bedroom got once I fired up the fan pulling the air out thru the roof vent. Gonna be a real nice addition.....Come on summer!

I bet the reversible feature is nice! I ordered the Maxxair Fan Mate 850 and 2 of the Maxxair II units.
