Md.dealer closed up

went to the dealer where i bought my rockwood to see if they would order me a tilt kit for my awning....could not believe my eyes when i started to pull into the lot. gone! no trailers, nothing! continued through the lot and saw the sign..."Day's RV sales closed" . but,the good news...the service shop was still open, don't know for how long though. did not get to talk to any one there,so i don't know what happened with the dealership.

That's where we bought our HTT, too! We were getting it ready for the first trip, thought there was a problem so my husband goes in to call them... yeah comes out and says they're out of business! We were pretty shocked. And there were a few things that we were waiting on, but so much for that.

The service guys did answer a question for us once, at least.

Dealers are closing all over the country. Ours closed last fall. I contacted FR and they told me that any FR dealer can do the work even if they do not sell Flagstaff. I had a different dealer do the state inspection in April and they were able to order that awning tilt kit for no charge. We visited Days RV in fall of 2008 when we were looking for a TT because we wanted to see the floorplan we have now, did not matter if it was Rockwood or Flagstaff. Days was a big place. Hopefully you will be ok with service somewhere else.

Rockwood06 we are about 10 miles from the Hershey Thousand Tails. We have never been there, but know several people locally that are members. Heard it is a nice place. Thought about joining a couple times but we seem to like traveling to different places.
