Our holiday weekend was as we expected.

We were camped at an Ohio state park with two other couples and we were in the middle. Thank god or we would have had some real problems.

People walking thru sites, music blaring out of outdoor entertainment centers (a creation of Satan) and barking dogs overwhelmed the VIPs.

This is why we are buying property in our favorite state about three hours away and setting it up for our TT. It seems the fun and relaxing weekends are the exception now and the ones ruined by trashy people are the norm.

I have been camping for 40 years and am watching it get worse every year. It's a shame.

This was the view from our trailer's front door this weekend. We spent the holiday weekend knocking steel turkeys from stands at the NRA Whittington Center.

I'm happy to report the campground was quiet and everyone was polite.

That's why the wife and I stopped going on holiday weekends. We stay home and then go after or before the major holidays.

Well about 68 rigs from the FROG family spent the holiday week end at Mayberry cg in Mt Airy NC. What a blast. Later RJD

Hope someone will start a thread about that rally. Would like to hear how it went and see photos.

Probably already on here but can't find it.
