I am so jealous of all of the NC campers. Oh how I wish to be back in my home state. Hopefully we'll be joining you at some point, if this house ever sells.

As for this weekend, we'll be at Odetah in Bozrah, CT. I'll admit that it isn't my favorite place. However, we need to be close by because my husband is participating in our town's Memorial Day Parade. But at least we are camping, right?

I have a busy weekend ahead running my dog boarding/ day care business for all the people vacationing here in Mammoth Lakes/Yosemite area. I have a dozen campgrounds near my house and everyone gets to have their fun while I work. My long vacation will be after Labor Day when all the vacationers leave.

We have 7 couples, in 6 campers, meeting up at Poche's Fish-N-Camp in Breaux Bridge, Louisiana. Good fishing, good music, fish fry and crawfish boil and washer tournament. Gonna pass a good time!

Being a Canadian, our "Memorial Day " is officially November 11, but we certainly respect yours and honour those that jointly have kept our countries what they are today. We are in Salem OR for the AHTS vintage truck show and then Monday head out to the coast to Cape Lookout state park, then up 101 for a few days.

being retired means I can stay home and let others have a spot during weekend/holiday and I can go camping any other time...

By all means I fly my flag at home and while I camp.

Heading to Ashaway RV resort, Ashaway RI. The plan is to spend as much time on the beach fishing as I possibly can. A long weekend of sun, sand, fun and cold adult beverages. Fish on!

Mountain View Arkansas, the pickin' capital of the known galaxy.

Be sittin' in the park gazebos, with friends, pickin' old country, some bluegrass and a bit of gospel.

CG's average less than $20 for WSE, cable and wifi.

Most CG's have pickin' shacks for rainy / cold weather.

Usually come home with fingers a few mm's shorter.

Too funny! I load up on Cheerwine every time we get down there. I usually bring back six 12-packs or whatever we can fit in the car!
