Memorial Day Weekend, Where you all going?

My Wife and I will be at Artillery Ridge in Gettysburg, how about you?

Make sure you fly your flags loud and proud and remember the Men and Women who make this weekend possible for us all!

Went back and forth between camping or boating. Chose boating/fishing, now it looks like it's going to be pretty rainy this weekend...

Heading to Mt Airy NC for Mayberry FROG rally.... About 68 rigs and 150 FROG members will be present! And yes I am planning a Memorial Day tribute.

Camped this past week-end at Cedar Point SP on the St.Lawrence. In 2 weeks we camp at Selkirk Shores SP on Lake Ontario. We host big family party at our house Memorial week-end.
From past experience we no longer camp on Memorial or Labor day. Too many amateurs. We're retired so the 3 day week-ends are no longer a draw.

Eldon Hazlet SP Carlyle, IL

Started our holiday camping trip with friends last Friday afternoon. Left the rig on-site and came home to work today and tomorrow. I will be back tomorrow afternoon to the CG.

The park is nice and quiet during the week.

Mountain Stream RV Park near Marion, NC. A full week, Thur thru Thru. One of the prettiest RV parks ever. We go at least once each year.

Going to Indian Point in Branson the first weekend in June. Never got into the crowds over holiday weekends.

I dont get to camp on memorial weekend anymore. On one hand it stinks since it is usually extra time off work and kids school but on the other hand places are packed that weekend and crazy.

My family runs a shooting club, shout out for VernonNational.com, and on this very fitting weekend for about 8 years now we have hosted a Veterans Benefit shoot. Its a big event, typically around 125 participants and we on average raise around 5 grand for local veteran groups.

Thinking about setting the camper up at the club (we have 600 acres there) for the weekend, then if i indulge in some tasty drinks after the shoot i dont have to worry about driving anywhere.

Just back from a 2800m treck to Charleston SC so we're cleaning and getting ready for the next outing. We'll hang out the flags and be thankful.
Thank you to all the vets...ooray!
