MICHAEL-Anyone else affected?

I live in the Pan Handle. Not sure which way this is coming but I will hitch up and get out of dodge if it's coming our way. Anyone else affected?

I certainly hope you are not affected too bad... it might affect me as I have a reservation for two nights on St George Island, but not until 8 days from now... hoping for sun... not rain

good luck to you

We are in Blairsville Georgia. Had plans to head home to NE Florida Thursday morning. We are now thinking of heading home Wednesday and try to beat the storm. We need to be home by Thursday evening for sure.

We live in Hernando County, in the Nature Coast and zone A/B Evac begins this morning. And that’s at the southern end of the “affected area”. From Destin to PCB I’d make plans to head out this morning because gas is already getting scarce and I bet i10 and north i75 are going to be parking lots by noon today. Be safe all!

I'm in Dothan, AL. I think I'll be sitting put...if you need a place to drag your trailer, I have full hookups at my house...and a tornado shelter.

Glad I'm not, but if I was I'd be hitching up and heading WEST. Storm force winds could arrive as early as late afternoon today.

I hear good things about St George Island. Do post your thoughts on it. Good luck! Hopefully it will all pass and no issues.

So far they are calling for 25mph winds gusting up to 40mph. I am keeping an eye on it and if it starts to move our way, I will do just that!

We are in Murrells Inlet SC till Friday. Park Rangers are requiring folks to put awnings in but otherwise no evacuation. We thought about leaving Thursday morning but would just be traveling in the storm back to Virginia.

As to St George Island, It’s a great place to stay if you like quiet. There’s like 3 1/2 miles of beach and only a limited number of campsites so you have the beach to yourself. Bugs can get pretty tough in the summer. But we love the place.

off topic..I am unable to start a new thread? Hopefully a lead will open a new thread for me? Tried responding to old thread and it wouldn't post?
Passport America
I have the membership, I understand you get what you pay for. Prices are half price on the RV parks discretion. My question has anyone had any issues with theft, or any problems, leaving Thursday. some are as low as $17.50 a night? Cash only? Will my tires or MH be missing when I return after a day of touring the area? When its to good to be true, it usually is! Just asking if any one has had any problems at any RV parks?
Appreciate responses

power company trucks

Just saw a dozen power company trucks from south Texas here in Ocean Springs Ms. Talked to them, they are headed to Florida, wished them well and thanked them, having been on the receiving end of storms i know they will be needed.

Not directly affected but supposed to be going to Blackwater Creek in two weeks then on to T H Stone on St Joseph Peninsula. Florida state parks website indicates both parks closing due to the storm and unknown reopening. Will likely be calling to cancel the reservations. Prayers for all those in the storms path.
