Definitely would recommend having them on your "short list".
I would only buy from a nationwide seller like RVWholesalers if buying non-local. They have a huge network of dealers and service centers they work with on warranty issues. The vast majority of dealers, most likely including this one, will probably be little to no help in finding you someone to work on your rig.

More of the same, with my response. We purchased our TT out of state and ran into the same problems with warranty work. I called 5 local dealerships that all sold FR products, and every single one of them said no to doing our warranty work. So, we had to drive 7 hours round trip to drop it off and then again to pick it up. Fortunately, we had a very short list and we only needed to take it in once. However, that was a huge factor when we traded that TT in on a fifth wheel. We kept it local this time.

I bought 2 new TT from LakeShore RV in Muskegon MI , I saved more than enough to drive 800 miles and if you do a through PDI you won't have any warranty claims. IMHO

How much extra did you spend going local? For me, it would have been $3-$5K every time on TT's in the low $20's price range. If your story is the same, you basically paid thousands for a 1 year warranty. You can pay for a lot of work out of pocket, use who you want and get much better service than most dealers offer by going to an independent tech and still be WAY ahead. But, once again, if you buy from a place like RVWholesalers, you will be assisted in finding someone local to work on your rig.

I purchased my Salem Hemisphere 282rl 5ver from ohio. Local dealers wanted 59k I bought for 29K and designed the trailer not one on the lot. I got a great deal and the dealer still sends me a hello on email from my salesman. I ask questions all the time and they answer it right away. You can save a lot by searching. Good luck now off to camping this weekend

I bought from RVW. Saved thousands and there customer service is great. Will use them again. Good local dealers around me are nonexistent.
