Chickdoe: not sure about the 405 I'm in Riverside and try never to go that way.
they are adding more toll roads on the 91 through Corona

I like to spend more time "there" than "getting there". We will leave early, sometimes before sun up and try to stop around 1 -2. Leaves plenty of time to relax in the afternoon. Maybe 300-400 a day. But everyone's travel plans are different.

Personally I hate to get up before 7am, I sometimes do but my ideal time is to leave at 9am and drive to 4pm. About 7 hours of driving time. I'm retired now and I just hate to get up early. Just staying one night I hookup before I get to bed and drain my holding tanks, that way I can leave at 8am.

We did Fort Worth, Tx to Iowa City, Ia which is 930 miles in 14 hours....not recommended. going to make a 2 day trip this year.
