Monitor Panel

Hello. New owner here. I have a question regarding our Monitor/Command Center on our 2018 Cherokee Forrest River.
On our control panel there is a HTR switch on the lower left hand corner. I am assuming this is for the hot water heater. When the switch is off and not lit up,is the hot water heater using electric from hookups? I have hot water with out it being lit up. If I turn this switch to on and switch lit up will this use propane for the hot water heater?

Possibly both unless you turn off the electric heater switch in the exterior water heater access panel.
