We recently stayed at Moose Hillock and liked the park for it's large sites, privacy due to separation of the sites, and the pool would be fantastic if we had small kids. But... due to the separation of the sites you don't get the usual interaction with your neighbors. Next trip we'll go back to the Lake George RV resort. On the same road as MH, but closer to town, has a shuttle bus to town and the sites are more open and closer together. Moose Hillock is a really nice CG, but we just prefer LGRV.

very nice campground-I live 2 miles from it. remember when they were building it.as a transporter I have brought campers in.As a camper, dont care for it - no young children. My niece likes it as she has young ones. they did put a ton of money into it.

We stayed there eailer this year and our granddaughter loved it. We met the owner and was very impressed with him and the staff. Loved the large sites . We will be returning there for Labor Day weekend .

Heading there in 2 weeks. 3 young kids in tow. They are really looking forward to the pool. We have stayed at their other campground in New Hampshire and really enjoyed it!

Totally agree about you on both places. We LOVE LGRV. This year will be our 4th fall package there. We toured Moose Hillock, while we liked it, they don't allow as many guests. Their sites ARE very spacious, but like you said, very separated. Also some seasonal people told us the owners can be tough. (We're not rule breakers, ever, but that type of thing always makes me leery)
