I had to give up the bike when I got married. Just recently got an RV. Maybe when I'm 90 I'll have all the toys that I want. Maybe that is why you always see old guys driving Corvettes???
I'll let my brother know. He just traded his K75 for an RS1150.

I only ride in my dreams now. Geez that sounds sad! Actually I still get the "I want a bike' bug every spring.... But as they say, there's a cure for every bug, and I married mine.

Just noticed this thread but couldn't get to the site (page not found?)
Sold my 'last' bike around 92-93, before getting married.
I knew I'd come back to it, as the spring time urge was strong.
My promise to resist didn't last as long as I'd hoped, because I got back into it a couple years ago (import cruiser purchase).
I really do enjoy riding, but the bike doesn't get used nearly as often as I thought it would... I keep thinking to sell, because it takes up floor space in the garage, but then a short ride puts a smile back on my face, and removes those thought's.

That website is long ago shut down. Mikes new site is http://www.harleydavidsonbikers.com/...s.php?name=Jig. I have been thinking abut selling my Harley, but I just can't bring myself to do it.
Cheers

Bear,
Thanks for the link update (and good to see you posting).
I ride with HD owners on occasion, and would have purchased same, had the budget supported it .
For now I'm just happy to have a bike again for when I 'need' it.
Curious why you would sell, limited use?

Ya, I don't ride it much any more. If I have time off we are up in the mountains camping and quading, and if I have a few free hours I tend to be working on or playing with my 70 Chevelle race car. I will probably keep my Road King, I just wish insrance wasen't so expensive.
Cheers
Bear

Actually it is a 498ci. Basicly a stroked 454 running about 560hp and 600 torque. It is a SS454 LS5 car

Thanks for sharing those awesome pics. Misspent my youth at dragstrips and they brought back sweet memories.

I've got me one of those 2 wheeled fun machines!!
I'd post a pic but it's saying (OK well not saying, as my computer doesn't talk) that it only allows 97.7Kbs worth of pic.
