Question Motorhome solar panels - how many

How many solar panels do you have on the roof of your motorhome? Is 2 not enough or 6 too many - for camping without hookups?

I have 2 panels but it is not just how many (mine are 150 watts each for total of 300 watts), you need to start with evaluating what your amp hour usage will be from your batteries, next install enough battery bank power to cover your needs then figure enough panel wattage/amps hours in solar to replenish your usage each day with around 5 or 6 hours of good sunlight (you normally will get more sun than that but this gives some cushion for cloudy days).

I would start here to get an idea of the components to a solar setup, how to calculate your needs, etc etc. It's important to have a good understanding of each component.
