My favorite thing about RV'ers is

The way you can stand outside your unit looking stumped and within minutes several people will magically appear to help out!

YES! My best helper memories are of our first camping trip with this fifth wheel (had a random + helpful comment as I was trying to get parked; and had someone come down to check on why we were so slow to getting hitched back up) and my most recent one (had two guys see that I was going to be backing into my site by myself and came down to spot for me).

Yep. I think some of the longtimers have an "S" on their chests under their jumpsuits. Rescued me a few times.

I think we've all run into those folks over the years and some of us had to learn the hard way when we started camping in 1960 as there just weren't that many out there where we went that we could afford.

Agree 99.99% of the time and then there's that 0.01%.
But for the most part, rv'ers are fantastic folks.

Amen, OldCoot, and thank God they're in the tiny minority! That's one reason we love pre-Memorial Day and post-Labor Day camping. Most of the 0.01%'s are absent!

Yes! And I thank God for all the helpers! You guys, here on the forum, have been more helpful than anybody in person, most of the time!

I like exchanging RVing war stories with those I meet, and greet. You'd be surprised what some RVs are capable of. Helping out when needed is another good thing.....{:>)
