My Mini Lite turned into a SOB

Left with my Mini Lite and came home with our new SOB, an Open Range 297RLS 5er. PDI went extremely well and have only found one little problem, the quick connect on the outside shower leaks. Hope all goes well this coming week on our 5 day maiden run.

Nice new 5th.
It looks as if you need to lower the 5th wheel hitch in the bed of the truck.
You look way too high with the nose up.

Nice looking rig. I am going to look at a Light 311FLR next weekend. What is your impression of the build quality? Any quirky-ness that you've found so far? I see your model and the one I will look at have the same shower. What's your impression of it. I am afraid that a 34" radius might be too small. I'm kind of a big guy -- 6+ feet and wonder if I'd even be able to lift my arms over my head let alone be able to bend down to wash my feet.

Garten, we just brought rig home from the dealer on Thursday. We're getting it ready for its maiden trip this weekend. I'll let you know about the shower. In the drive it appears to be sufficiently big enough for my 6 ft 235 self. Overall quality appears to be good for not being a top of the line product. I had to make a very tight u turn when I got it to the house due to a neighboring house fire. I successfully made a 90 degree turn without a slider hitch and 6.5 foot bed. Overall very pleased so far.

We purchased an Open Range a few months ago and are very happy. Enjoy your new rig!
