Mystery rattle in 2011 Rockwood Signature Ultra Light 5th Wheel

We are traveling across country from the West Coast to the East and into Canada in our 2011 Rockwood Signature Ultra Light 8280WS 5th Wheel. During our many-mile journey so far, we have had very few problems. On US 2 in Maine, we hit a terrific pothole. On arrival at the campground, we found our brand new Keurig coffee maker had flown out of an upper cabinet, hitting the stove's bifold cover (denting it beyond repair), and lots of "items tend to shift during flight" issues. After clean up and set up, we have a mysterious rattle that appears to be coming from somewhere above/within the front storage compartment. We hear it most when upstairs in the bedroom. It almost sounds like a loose pipe that bangs against the metal compartment divider between the storage area and the propane tank on the port (left) side of the 5th wheel. We have removed everything from storage, as well as the port propane tank, and still hear what sounds like something banging on the metal storage wall. The front stabilizers appear to be working fine, and weight appears to be distributed equally, but it almost sounds like the noise a broken strut makes. Any thoughts would be appreciated - very few mobile repair options and no Camping Worlds in Maine.

Is there anything that makes the noise better or worse? (Turning the A/C on or off, Turning the water heater on or off, Turning the water on or off, etc.)

Is it a regular noise?
Does it happen when nobody is moving around?
Is it worse at any particular time of day?
