First welcome to the forum. There are many knowledgeable people here that can offer advice so enjoy the forum. We have had a Reese Dual Cam and currently use a Blue Ox Sway Pro. Both are very good hitches as is the Equalizer. I prefer the Blue Ox just because it is very easy to adjust just the right amount of sway control. Everything has a nice powder coated finish as well. Also the new snapup brackets that Blue Ox uses this year are probably the nicest design I have ver seen and would seem to be well suited to V nose trailers and hence I am in the process of getting a set for our 30WRLS. Good luck with the new unit, btw where did you get it?

Are you sure about the GVWR of 9700 lbs. ??? The highest GVWR of the F150s that I see are in the 8200 lb. range for some 8' bed models.
