Need A Little Help.....

Yesterday I posted a pic of a camper called Cabin "A" Retreat and it was a 22 foot long....Well I just found one for sale it is 32 foot fully loaded, this unit has a washer and dryer along with a hot tub. the help I need is the weight, the info I found says that the GVWR is 7,000 lbs is the GVWR classified as the full loaded weight? there is no dry weight listed just the GVWR, If this is true then how could I determine what the dry weight is? Thanks in advanece....

GVWR would be the most it CAN weigh (gear and trailer combined), without overloading of course.

Oh and the only way to find the dry weight would be to find a brochure, the yellow shipping weight sticker, or the info sticker on the trailer. Or weigh it empty of course :P

If it is 32 feet long, has a washer/dryer, AND a hot tub, I have a hard time believing the GVWR would be only 7000 lbs.

Even it had a hot tub, which I find hard to believe, you can't carry it full of water, would all slosh out. A two person hot tub is going to be 300 gallons of more of water, so that alone is 2400 pounds, plus another 300 for the tub and the pump, and now we have 2700. That only leaves 4300 for the rest of the trailer. Oops, forgot 100 for the washer and dryer, so that leaves 4200. Impossible in a 32 foot trailer.

Now I don't have any specs, just making some guesses here. Something tells me it is not a "hot tub", with pump and jets, like I'm familiar with.

These are not Travel Trailers they are Park Trailers, for what that matters. I could not find the specs on the 32' but I did on the 22' and it's GVWR is listed at 7000lbs so the 32 has to be much higher.

FYI, I did see a 32' for sale that included a hot tub,but the hot tub was just a std hot tub setup on the deck, most likely because it was being used as a Park Trailer on a seasonal site?

Thanks for your input and the points are well taken. One thing I would like to say is that I would not travel with water in the hot but to me it looks like a bathtub with jets and i have only carried fresh water in my camper just one time so I wouldn't carry water for the so called hot tub....and I think it is for one person, just can't tell how big it is by the pic.

I have pictures of this rig from the internet and I am going to look at it today. The rig is at an RV Dealer lot and it is on consignment the owner of the rig lives near the dealership so I should have all the info.

There is another one for sale but it is a 22' and it is located near Ocean City MD.

Maybe it's a blow-up hot tub ?

Inspected camper yesterday Evening......

Ok, Here we go...The tub is a whirlpool tub in the bathroom, this unit has a washer/dryer combo, it has a dishwasher, a ceiling fan, the center of the rig has a slidout a flip down deck with hand rails. This rig is made by Aliner, between 2006 and 2007 about 40 of them where made and it has a nice floor plan for a 32 foot and well equipt.

The bad news: this unit needs some TLC....To start of with the bathroom floor needs to be replace, it is soft in some places, this is the plywood.
I looked under the unit and noticed that the"U" bolts were replace on the axles but noticed nothing else at that time, as I continued my inspection under the unit and change position due to the light I notice that both axles were bent upward and in the middle and the tires look like they came with the unit when it was new so my guess is that the bearings and brakes are in the same condition, I would have to do a title search thought the MVA to see if it had a claim or a total loss.
As far as all the equipment working, this I don't know but it was plug in and the a/c works. The carpet needs to be removed, and the unit dose have some oders but not bad.
If I had a place to store it this would be a nice project to work on, however the price they are asking is out of line with the condition that it is in, so right now the hunt is still on......It's funny, the salesman keeps telling me that he has someone else calling about it.....I just don't think that is happening.

Some axles are pre-bent (cambered) from the factory. Dont assume they are bad just because they are cambered.
