Ok all my post didn’t show so here goes again. We are on our way to Fl from MI in the worst weather ever. 16 below actual. No water in the rig until we get to warmer weather. In Tifton GA I turn on the water and water heater. The fridg quit and the water heater won’t heat on electric or propane. I have check every fuse and breaker there is. Both the water heater and fridge are less than a year old in a 2007 RF Georgetown. I know there is someone smarter than me that can give me an idea.

I am NOT trying to be smart&&. BUT, my furnace wouldn't come on and danged if I didn't have the 'dial' turned to the wrong propane bottle, the one that was OFF! Then my thermostat did stupid things, and I just powered it down and back on and it worked.

Next, I'd check my battery.

Past that, others need to chime in.

Not a bad thought however in a motor home there is only one and it’s half full. Also both should work on electric but don’t
Thanks

Have you tried to reset all the GFCI's in the RV?

Have you checked 12 and 120 voltage at the water heater and at the control board of the fridge?

If rv was winterized, to you put valves back into normal or is tank still bypassed? You burnt your element if the latter.
On fridge, I have had a glass fuses blow that was in the circuit board on back of fridge. Replaced and it started working.
All just suggestions, hope it helps

I have not found gfi except kitchen and bath. I will look further. I know about the glass fusses at the board but haven’t checked them. That will be my next step

I feel for you having to deal with that in -16 degrees. Good luck.

Is it -16 in Tifton, Ga.? Or did I misinterpret OP's post?

mypalal51 , Is your propane leak detector turned on? My gas wouldn't work on anything if the propane leak detector was turned off.
Good luck!

Is there gas to stove? Assuming you have stove.

There was a post here a few weeks ago about filling lpg in the south and getting a higher blend of butane and trouble in cold weather because of freezing.

If you have worked around/checked most things then I start getting lost. I would assume the butane deal, bad regulator, bad valve/blockage. Did you try closing tank valve. Vent lines. Then reopen tank valve slowly?

I would believe 16 F or even -16 C, but there is no way it was -16 F. I guess it depends on how you interpret “16 below actual,” which is kind of cryptic.
