Need Help with my first Purchase

I found a 2008 Rockwood 8318SS for 15K. There is one thing I found wrong it has a bubble in the wall over the rear slideout after doing some research I found that it is from a water leak. I really like the trailers layout and the price seems to be good. The seller say's he is not aware of any leaks. Any advice would be great.

Is the bubble on the inside or out side wall? Like is it in the laminate or is it in the inside wall board.The price seem about right though ,but i would definitely have that bubble checked out further before i bought it

I think it is the laminate and it is inside above the rear slide. I went to rv dealer that had some used rockwoods and one of them had the same bubble above the slide. That dealer said it was from the trailer not being level and water pooled and seeped in.

Bubble=trouble
any questions?

There are too many for sale right now to get into something that has a "possible" problem from the very beginning.
just my opinion.
Good luck

To buy a camper with an exsisting problem can put a bad taste in your mouth for Rving. Camping can be alot of fun and meeting new people on the campgrounds and on a Forum like this to help you with most issues that come up. Hopefully you are handy, that will help alot. Just wondering, why are these people selling there camper?

The story I got was they have a 40 foot motorhome and they were tring to sell it. They had a buyer put a down payment on the Motorhome. So they went out and bought the 8318SS new. Then the buyers finanicing fell throught and they are stuck with two trailers.

Well, that sounds like a good story, but I would still look around as suggested.
