Need Help with SCS/Frigette Electric Steps

We have a 2006 Georgetown motor home with SCS/Frigette coach electric steps. We have been having intermittent problems with the steps until the last trip when they went real haywire. We just replaced the motor and it corrected part of the problem, but not all of it. The stairs will not stay out when in the locked position with the motor off. Anyone have any ideas on what to look at to correct this?
