We carry 2 - 24” industrial fans. Put one on each side of the area under the awning. We are in south Louisiana and wouldn’t dare camp without them. We carry them in the back of the truck as we use them under our patio when not camping. Hey, it’s hot as hades down here!

No, pigs do not sweat. In hot weather, they love to wallow in the wet mud. That's how they cool down. I don't know where that saying came from.

We just purchased a tower fan and it works so well. It kept all the mosquitoes away and it kept us cooler while we sat outside, which we do most of the time while camping. One other benefit is how quiet it is. Here's the one we ordered from Amazon.

Artic Cool fan. We don't go anywhere without one, but we usually camp in the desert. Works on Ryobi batteries. Has misters. Sits on 5 gallon bucket of you want misting. Available at the orange warehouse home store. About $80.

I have not seen a battery operated fan that can deliver a generous amount of air movement with the exception being one of the 12volt Dynamax vent fans. If you are looking for a nice compact fan that really moves air with a minimum amount of noise, check out the outdoor wall mount fan at Lowe's. You can mount it on your RV, and it is made for full weather exposure. Variable speed and it can rotate from side to side if you so desire.

I use a squirrel cage fan from a residential HVAC package. Works on 110v 15 amp plug. Moves a lot of air, is quiet, and is about the size of a bread box. Drawback is awkward positioning and no safety guards but a blessing on a hot day outside.

Lasko 12.25-in 3-Speed High Velocity Fan (or similar)

Got this a few years back when tent camping in the summer down in FL. Had seen a guy few spaces over with a nice, big RV sitting under his awning with the fan blowing at him. Thought he was wasting perfectly good AC inside, but liked his fan. Enough that we took a trip to the store and picked up the first one we saw. Now I use it to help blow the heat from the wood stove in the winter and circulate air at home. And then in the camping months, it is in the RV waiting to be used. Works really nice as quick cool down after setting up at a new site.

We carry an oscillating fan with us, three speeds. It is helpful.

I have a wall mounted 16 inch fan with the bracket mounted under the awning. when we camp i just take the fan from the trailer and set it on the mounting bracket and plug it in. when we leave just take the fan down and put in the trailer. only thing outside is a small bracket.

We bought one of these:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

It's cheap as heck, both in quality and price, but it saved our bacon one night boondocking. Ours was wobbly due to the eccentric hub glued on crooked at the factory. That being said it moves a fair amount of air.

There are a few models/sellers/sizes. We plan to try a bigger one and make a suction cup bracket to hang under our awning. I used a spare motorcycle battery to run it, but i'd like to put a power plug of sorts on it.

We have had one of these for about 3 years. We dry camp a lot so having a fan that runs on its own battery is a big plus. If you're lucky enough to have a site with water, you don't have to run the pump and the battery will last several hours (with the pump, it's less than one hour).

This misting fan has worked well for us in the Texas summer.

Is you have battery powered tool buybwhatever fan goes with your tool set.

I have Milwaukee so I have their fan.
My dad has DeWalt.

I actually like his better. No secondary cord needed to plug it in to 110. Just an extension cord. And it is variable speed.

Well worth the $100. We even take it on the boat with us.

Ditto what many have said - we bring one or two 20 inch box fans in hotter weather. Inexpensive, moves a lot of air, light weight...

Not sure if there's a battery powered fan that would do the job but I do have an external outlet I could plug into when I'm at a site with facilities. I was thinking one of those tower type fans would store well but not sure how well they perform.
https://www.walmart.com/ip/Stanley-H...ellow/21783277 Best fan you can get they are small lightweight and move a ton of air!! We use them in our band for outdoor gigs and then throw them in a bin we have for misc equipment. they're very tough. and we also put them up under TT where it's generally cooler. You can't go wrong with these

That's also what I use. Be hard to out perform it. It's high most places but Sams has it at 69. https://www.samsclub.com/sams/pivoti...lp_product_1_1
