Talking Need some new side trim for TT

Hello all its been a while. Been busy and on leave with the wife and the new baby....

we took a Nice trip over Memorial weekend to Sumpter Oregon and took the Kids on the Historic Steam train. (THANKS VETS ! ! !)

at about 100 miles out on the trip,we had a tire blowout on the rear axle of the TT drivers side.
it took out the black water piping (YUUUUUUUUUUUK !!!) Valves, and the lower alum. trim just above the valves, from the tire to the back slide, (about 7')

does any one know where i might be able to get this new trim piece. the local shop (200+ miles) away dont have any, and told me they cant order it.
Out TT is the FR 2004 Salem 39FBRB model. need to find some, ect for my insurance to cover the damage, tire ect.
the tire shop told me that I should also upgrade the TT tires to the 10ply HD Carlisles.. Any thoughts?

Full time camping: every day this year !!!!

where were they made, probably china, on another web site they are talking about some marathons that goodyear had trouble with and took them out of ciculation. Here is a copy of it.

Goodyear had a batch of G614s that had some problems -- understand those have been taken out of the pipeline; Marathons also in the Goodyear inventory have been having some problems. One thing about it though - enough Goodyear dealers around that you can at least get another tire (normally) without having to wait too long.

That said -- my local dealer just got his 6th set of G614s in and they are all made in China; not a single US made G614 has come his way since we started looking. I asked him if we could order them from a store east of the Mississippi and I'd even pay the shipping. He kind of laughed, said that wouldn't be necessary and I continue to wait.
