new 5th wheel
DH & I are fairly new to RVng, we are on our last trailer. We had purchased 2 TT
within the last year and decided that they were just not enough room. We picked up our new 337bar on Tuesday. WE are headed to the lake for the weekend. Next month will be going to Niagara Falls for a week To to Grand Canyon in Sept. If you have any tips for new 5th wheelers I would appreciate any.

I'm new to 5th wheels myself. I was amazed at how much easier it was than a bumper pull, in every respect.

Congratulations on your new 5er. Isn't the added living space great. It sounds like you plan on doing quite a bit of traveling. My advise would be to check the tires. When we bought our brand new 5er I noticed that the wheels were already 3 years old and barely rated to handle the weight of the camper. Just a suggestion, good luck, have fun, and God bless.

Welcome from upstate NY. We too are heading to the Grand Canyon in late Sept, maybe we'll see you there! As for any tips, 5ers turn a lot quicker than a pull behind. Meaning the track of the trailer wheels will be well inside the track of your TV on a reasonably tight turn. Swing it wide my friend! God Bless.

new 5th wheel
Hello all, Well are back from our first 2k mile trip. We have had numerous
issues with the new Salem Hemisphere Lite 40' 5th wheel, inverter/converter not working, windows will not stay closed, exterior door will not stay latched whether we are moving or sitting still. We kind of feel like we got a lemon. We are trying to work a deal with the national dealer that we purchased it from. We really want a different 5th wheel. Fingers crossed. More to follow.

Sorry you are having issues.
Just food for thought... be prepared to deal with issues on any unit you purchase. We've had many different brands/models through the years, all had some sort of problems. Some worse than others.
Best of luck.
We really like our current 5th wheel.

Good news it that the dealer worked with us on a trade in. We had to come with
with more money however we got a superior 5th wheel. We purchased
a FR Cedar Creek Silberback 35'. We are taking it out this weekend and in 3 weeks headed out to the Grand Canyon. Talk about a couple of happy campers!

Glad you got it worked out. My uncle just bought a cedar creek....I am jealous.
BTW I must be doing something wrong. You are on your 4th camper in just over a year?! I have enough trouble just affording the one
