Mine had not been on the lot but a week and no rain. When i got it home and it rained the following week water was coming in from the slide. All they had to do was readjust it.

We had the same issue keeping two kids in the bunks. We went to an Amish furniture builder and explained what we needed. He build a nice set of bed rails that screwed to the frame under the mattress. Worked great and the wood matches the interior wood.
