Dido, no maps on any of my campgrounds. That blows.

the DOT GOV at the end of the URL (recreation.gov) says it all...

WOW! Just looked at recreation.gov..... man, that's going to take some getting used to! DW and I had the previous version down pat... could figure out what site we wanted, what was available, etc. The new website is NOT all that user friendly - although I do like the satellite view of the campground we use ... to a certain extent it gives us a better view of where the site is, but the photo was taken late in the day and the shadows are long.

I took a look at a park we use now and then and I checked the satellite view and saw all the sites with their actual numbers superimposed. I think that will be helpful to me.

Hi,

Not only is the web site lousy, but the new on site system is too.

We checked into a Corp park on the Mississippi last nite, and the user interface for checkin was sure unfriendly from my side of the window. That's in terms of the time it took (15 minutes for my registration alone) and the way the two folks inside struggled to get the job done. Needless to say, they were unhappy too...

FWIW.

It works fine on my phone but it is completely unusable on this Win7, IE 11 computer. I'm sure it's the firewall here stopping it from working.

I like the layout where the campsite numbers are overlaid on the satellite image.

Campsite numbers are digital and “float above the trees” but, you’re right - I couldn’t see all the cigarette filters near the pads!
