new floorplans

I was looking at the Salem Hemi lineup and noticed the 336rlt is no longer available which is what we own. The closest thing, I believe is the 327bar. Two feet longer and 800 pounds lighter. Go figure. Got me wondering, how long does a floorplan stay in production? Does it go by sales, or is there a time limit on them?

Seems to be primarily sales/demand driven at FR. I too have a retired model from the Hemisphere/Heritage Glen sisters - wouldn't trade it at all! However, we were told by FR many of the couples models were being discontinued/reconfigured because of lack of sales. I think, personally, that was more because few dealers put those models on their lots, at least here in the NE. Conversely, we had a 2008 Shamrock 21SS (sister line to the Roo) and that model had been in production several years and remains in production today - hot seller!
