Yes, no kidding. I do welding on the side and can tell you to do those letters is NOT EASY, notice his R's are identical. That's hard to do with a plasma cutter by hand if that's what was used. The welds are nice as well.

I used 2½" rock with shavings on the driveway and pad. I used 1½" rock with shavings (heavy on the shavings) around the culvert.
I'll let this settle in for a year or two to give it time to kind of set a base since there wasn't anything but bare ground to begin with. I'll then look at 1½" rock with shavings or possibly smaller.

Yeah, there are quite a few that can do very good work when their minds are clear of alcohol & drugs. I'm amazed at some of the things that they produce, like our smokers. I've checked out similar in stores and ours have much better quality and at least 2/3rd's the price. They are one of our best sellers.
If you camp in an Oklahoma SP and see updated fire rings, lantern holders, grills and tables, more than likely we made 'em.
The only time I get a chance to see our variety of products is when I go by our showroom. I run the print operation and that keeps me busy enough.

One more thing of interest. We do this without spending any tax dollars. We are self sufficient. Employees pay, offenders pay and all operation costs are paid by what we produce and sell. We are even are able to kick back some $$ into the system. We saved all Oklahoma DOC employees 12 furlough days this fiscal year.

I am proud of how things have turned out (not really hard to tell is it?).
It's been a long time of planning and saving and while it might not be the best RV cover and pad out there, it's turned out to be better than I originally hoped for.

I really like the lean to side part of it - very clever. Are you thinking of running a water line out there as well (washing , filling the tank) or sewer connection (dumping and rinsing tanks)?

No plans for water or sewer at this time, but could be a possibility in the future. I can reach the trailer from the house with a water hose if I need to.

As far as the lien to part of it, I could always wall that in and use as storage area if I ever needed or wanted to.

What material did you use for your base? I am going to need to lay some down to get my TT back in it's spot..

I used 2½" rock with shavings from a local quarry. The large rock isn't the easiest to walk on, but it doesn't work it's way into the ground as easy as the smaller stuff. After a year or two the driveway and pad bed should be pretty much be packed and stable. After that I will bring in smaller rock.
