New Home For TT's (pics)
I’ve owned about ¾’s of an acre next to my house for 10-12 years and I’ve done nothing with it except keep it mowed and plant a few pine trees. A few years ago I decided that I should build a pad for the tt , so I started planning and saving. Finally reached the point that we could get it done.
I’ve been busy with this project for the last month and finished up today. Because of imposed budget cuts by my DW I was only able to have the cover built with the back gables and a few side panels. As time allows and when the budget freeze is lifted, I will add more side panels myself. At least for now the tt’s will be under cover.
The next few post will show pics of before, during and after.
Here are a few before pics. The lot is 75’ wide x 430’ deep.

I'm jealous of both the 3/4 acre next to you and the new building, and I vote for a congressional lift on the budget to finish it for you!

Very nice. We have to do something this summer to get some sort of storage unit built for our 3008W. I was thinking about going 12' wide but you have me rethinking that and going wider. You did it right by doing the electric up front on the project.

Thanks for all the kind comments.
It's been a long time of planning and saving. Keep focused on the plan and you can make it happen, right?
It would have been nice to enclose it, but just can't quite manage that at this time.
I wanted to go ahead and get this much done with the hot summer months comming up. As hot and dry as it's been here this past month I might should have started earlier!
Thanks again guys, I appreciate it.

Send me a PM if you need any details. You might be able to take some of my ideas and adapt them to your needs.

NICE! Wish I had a spare lot next to my house. I would put some nice little pines around as decoration to kind of conceal things there though. But that's just me.

As you can see in the pics there are pine trees that line the front and south of my property. I took the pictures where the trees didn't interfere. You've got to give them a little time/years.
I don't want to plant any too close to the cover. I've seen what damage can happen due to trees too close to houses, etc.... We have talked about some type of landscaping around the cover, but haven't came up with a plan yet. One step at a time, you know.
I do have plans to plant some pine trees behind the cover. Sort of a semi circle around a fire pit with the openning towards the cover.
Here's a couple of pics of the fire pit I've already purchased.

I work for Oklahoma Correctional Industries. We have several factories in our prison institutions using offender labor. We produce products for state and local governments, schools, churches and other non-profit organizations. We can also sell to state employees.
The fire pit is just one of many items we can produce. You can have any design cut into the metal that you want. I saw this one in our showroom one day, liked it and decided to buy it.

It's amazing what kind of talent is locked up in our prison systems, too bad other influences have taken a toll on the lives of people who end up making such bad choices.
That looks better than most factory production line fire pits.
