New oil burner in town.
Just picked up a 2013 Chevy Silverado 2500HD diesel. That'll make pulling my TT a whole lot easier.

Congrats, now there should be a change in your signature. I too went from a 5.7 Tundra to a Ram TCD, love the oil burner.

Very nice. Mine is being ordered later this spring. 2017 3500HD Chevy. I think they look better than the Cheshire Cat looking GMC. I can't wait to hear how it does for you!

I wasn't even planning on getting rid of my Tundra in the immediate future. I just happened to see it sitting out front of the Toyota dealership while I was there getting my Tundra serviced. After checking it out, and several intense negotiations with the dealer, it's now in my driveway.

Very nice looking truck, thanks for the pictures...
Same story different rigs, took the 2010 F250 in for service, drove home in a 2016 F350, some times I wonder if I should even be allowed on the dealers lot.
Tried to scare myself by looking at the sticker on a couple of 2017's.

Well....at least you have a b/u vehicle in the reflection. Ha ha
I had a customer who came in driving his model A one day....I said why are you driving your model A? He said awwww my truck wouldn't start!! To me it was funny. A model A as a b/u vehicle?? That's funny to me.

Does anyone have an estimate of what I can expect for mileage while towing my 8000lb TT?

Mine TT is closer to 9000 and I get around 12 towing @62-63 mph......but with only 11000 miles on it, mine isnt broken in yet, so I expect it to get better.

I just learned what DEF was after my truck started giving me warnings that it was running low. Never heard of the stuff before but I'm certainly aware of it now.
