New Purchase

Hello All,
Nothing earth shaking to report other than my wife and I and are very excited to be the new owners of a 2011 Rockwood Mini-Lite 2306. We purchased from RVWholesalers and are very pleased with the way we have been treated. We won't pickup the tt until next spring, but Shirley is already making a list of what she believes we will need and, in the spirit of the season, she is checking it twice. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all.

Congrats
This is the same trailer model (2306) I am going to look at tommorow and will possibly ordering a brand new one
Can I ask what options you opted for?
I looked at RVWholesalers but found a dealer two hours away in Ft Pierce selling them priced pretty close - been doing alot of research and glad I stumbled on this site.
The one option I have been looking at is the Power Awning option but after seeing some posts about them I am not sure if I want to get it with that option now

We purchased our 2011 Windjammer from RVwholesalers.com. They were real nice, no one around us (Western NY)came close to thier low price. Even RVDirect couldnt beat there price. We waited 5-weeks for our and love it. This forum is great for asking and getting answers for any of your camping needs !! Good luck and HAVE FUN !!

Sherdep;
We bougt the 2306 from RVW's current inventory; therefore, we did not order additional options, but the tt comes nicely appointed as is. This is our first tt, and while such conveniences as a power awning or a slideout would be nice, we are wary of any additioonal mechanicals that will eventually malfunction or leak, resulting in expensive repairs. Our plan is to enter the RV experience at a simple level and go from there.

Hey Greg (Gkconfer)
I looked at RVW and found a dealer 1 hour and a half away
I opted to special order mine as a matter of fact I went today and looked at one and decided I wanted certain options that werent on the one they had so we did the special order so now I have to wait 6 to 8 weeks for it to come in

I understand about the awning cause I also opted for the Manual awning after reading of issues where it opens and closes on its own -

My parents have owned a few TT and now own a 40 foot motor home (Big Money) - this is actually my first TT - owned a boat for 10 years but got rid of it cause of a bad transom and stringers. so onto bigger and netter things - good luck with your TT and hope it is works out when you finally get it
