I think there are many great suggestions here, good luck with your venture. I have always thought that if I ever built a campground with either a view or on a lake or river that I would reverse the way that sites are oriented. I would have them angle the opposite way... so that the windows and enter/exit door face the view instead of the campground road. There should still be enough angle to say 'hi' to wandering campers!
