New to the Forest River Forums
Ive been looking everywhere and for some reason cant find where I go to post a new thread re: Winterizing. Could someone please point me in that direction.
Thanks so much. There’s a lot of helpful information.

Many times, that subject can be found in the plumbing and water systems subforum, located here:
Plumbing and Water Systems & Fixtures - Forest River Forums
You can also easily use the "search" function with the term of "winterizing" or "winterization" and find much information.
Good luck

Thanks for the quick reply. Ive read a lot on winterizing but I’m looking to post a question re: winterizing and I cant find a spot on those pages to post. The only option is to reply to a post. Hope that makes sense.

I have attempted to do all of the suggestions with no success. Maybe its because I’m using an iPad, I’m not sure. There are some sub forums re: winterizing but they are grayed out which makes me believe they are closed. The last post is sometime in 2013.

At the upper left, the word “forums”, click it to bring up a hierarchy of forums. You may have to swipe right to make that menu item visible.

No, you shouldn't have to reply to a post. You should be able to initiate a new thread. You say you're using a iPad........ are you getting to the forum through a browser and using the full site or are you using an app (if so - green app or orange app).

Same...
I too have not been able to create new listings. I have been able to reply to old posts I find but that doesn't always help. There is nothing in upper left hand corner under any forum for me that says create new thread. I am on regular computer so the ipad should not be the problem for me. It's great to search forums, but I can never ask questions.

Go to the top of the page and click on "Forums". It is next to the "Home" tab. When that loads, go to the forum topic you want your post to be under, such as "General Community Discussions". Click on that link. When it opens up you will see sub-forums with "Tips and Tricks", etc. Under those you will see "Threads In Forum" and all the threads below that. Just above the title "Threads In Forum" you will see a dark green button that says "New Thread". Click that open and you will see where you can type in your new thread title and then your question. Hope this helps.

DeborahL24, please go through this exact sequence as mentioned by CampingGator (Click on Tips and Tricks) and tell us if you do/don't see this

It worked, did it?
That's good.
Now to OP KenFitz: can you answer for us the question about an app or a browser on your iPad?

I use Safari on my iPad. I thought I found the place to make a new thread and posted my question but now I cant find it. Sorry to be such a pain. We are on the road right now so I cant try it on my iMac until I get home. Safari is a browser for non Apple users.

New to the Forest River Forums
Use the Forest River forums app. It’s easier to use than trying to figure things out on a browser.

Ken, here is your post:

I replied to it! FYI, you can click on a user name and there is a link to all posts by that user.

Safari is a browser for Apple users also. My iPhone (Apple) came pre-loaded with Safari although I use Firefox on my Apple iPhone and my Dell laptop.
I think a browser and the full site is easier to use than the green FRF app or the orange Tapatalk app although I use the latter for certain operations. With a browser accessing the full site, many/most options are visible on the main page as CedarCreekWoody and CampingGator (and others?) mentioned.
Another way to find your own posts if you can't remember where you put them is to click on Search at the top. That opens a pull-down menu. Next to last item on that pull-down is 'View all your posts'. That creates a time-ordered list just like the 'click on the user name method' suggested by CedarCreekWoody.

There is an iPad app for this forum. That is how I access it.
The advice I gave was based on my assumption that you were using it.
